This Type 270 (or T-270) will release 80% of its nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium evenly over a six-month (270-day) period when utilized at a constant temperature of 77° F. The duration of nutrient release is controlled by the composition of the resin and the kind and quality of a special “chemical release agent” added to the resin.
