I am a hobby beekeeper and a professional plastic injection mold maker. I got my first colony many years ago, but after it was stolen, I didn’t get bees again till a few years back when I met Bill a professional beekeeper. One day I was at his shop and he was assembling frames with a staple gun and jig etc., when I said it looked rather tedious he told me if I could come up with something easier it would be a great help to beekeepers. My solution was to replace the wood frame end with a plastic component that the wooden bars slip into. The frame ends are made from food grade HIPS and crossbars Ponderosa pine/spruce. The frames are packaged and shipped unassembled. Wiring these frames has also been streamlined, lugs are molded into the design so you don’t need to thread the wire through holes and nail it, etc. You just twist a loop in one end of the wire, slip it over the first lug and wrap it around the lugs and twist at the end. The frame ends have a unique built in ratchet style tensioner so no jig is required during wiring. Frames are pre-packaged 20 per USPS Priority flat rate box and ship to U.S.A., AL, HI and U.S. Protectorate This product is made entirely in America. Spehar Products, Imagination + Unfair Advantage
