These are absolutely the easiest frames to assemble, no tools, jigs, nails or staples are required. Simply push the crossbars into the frame ends and the frames are ready to go in your boxes. Frames interchange with standard Langstroth and fit boxes with 5/8″ cutouts. I am a hobby beekeeper and a professional plastic injection mold maker. My solution was to replace the wood frame end with a plastic component that the wooden bars slip into (I prefer my bees draw their comb from wooden top bars as they do in nature). The frame ends are made from food grade HIPS and crossbars Spruce/Ponderosa pine. Frames are packaged and shipped unassembled. Wiring these frames has also been streamlined, lugs are molded into the design so you don’t need to thread the wire through holes and nail it, etc. Simply twist a loop in one end of the wire, slip it over the first lug and wrap it around the lugs and twist at the end.
