PLEASE WAIT FOR INVOICE BEFORE PAYING SO WE CAN GET THE LOWEST SHIPPING RATE This is for ten (10) un-assembled 9 1/8″ Deep frames. These are absolutely the easiest frames to assemble, no tools, jigs, nails or staples are required. Simply push the crossbars into the frame ends and the frames are ready to go in your boxes. Frames interchange with standard Langstroth and fit boxes with 5/8″ cutouts. I am a hobby beekeeper and a professional plastic injection mold maker. I got my first colony many years ago, but after it was stolen, I didn’t get bees again till a few years back when I met Bill a professional beekeeper. One day I was at his shop and he was assembling frames with a staple gun and jig etc., when I said it looked rather tedious he told me if I could come up with something easier it would be a great help to beekeepers. My solution was to replace the wood frame end with a plastic component that the wooden bars slip into (I prefer my bees draw their comb from wooden top bars as they do in nature). The frame ends are made from food grade HIPS and crossbars Spruce/Ponderosa pine. Frames are packaged and shipped unassembled. Wiring these frames has also been streamlined, lugs are molded into the design so you don’t need to thread the wire through holes and nail it, etc. Simply twist a loop in one end of the wire, slip it over the first lug and wrap it around the lugs and twist at the end. WIRE AND PLASTIC FOUNDATION NOT INCLUDED. The frame ends have a unique built in ratchet style tensioner so no jig is required during wiring. To get the best shipping rates, orders MAY be shipped via UPS/FedEx. Free local pick up. This product is made proudly in America. Some people have expressed concern about the strength of the plastic frame ends, see photo of me standing on the frame heels not touching the box, that’s over 100 pounds force on each ear. 4″ honey bucket squeegee included n/c with each order, they help make clean up faster and get a little more honey. Made from thermoplastic polyurethane as used in food processing equipment. Spehar products, Imagination + unfair advantage
