We purchased for summer “Glamping” in New England and it is great for this purpose. There was plenty of room for our family of 3. We were able to comfortably fit a large King raised mattress and a large twin with room to spare for bags, clothes and supplies. You could fit two queen mattresses with room to spare. There are plenty of storage pockets all over the place and the closets add a homey touch that is welcomed. I’m a 6’3″ tall individual and I could stand in the center 2/3rd of the tent no problem. We also love the screened in porch for a bug-free space between the sleeping area and lounging area. You could squeeze a couple of twin mattresses in this space, but we put up a table for cooking supplies and a couple of chairs for relaxing. The divider between the rooms is built-in, which is nice and the whole tent has a built-in basin floor.The tent is easy enough to put up and take down, though do remember to mount the fly before erecting the side poles as it takes two to put it on otherwise! The instructions make this clear and everything is nicely color coded. Also, do make sure to set the guy lines taught as rain water will pool between the fly and horizontal poles otherwise. Took me about 30 mins to set up and an hour to tear down after a practice or two and I’m a novice. Packed back in the included carry bag real easy.I do have some complaints, but for our purposes they are easily overlooked: While the closets are nice there is no hanging bar, so it’s a bit of a wasted space. Side windows would have perhaps been better for ventilation but in New England this isn’t an issue. There is one tiny hook at the center of the divider which made handing a lantern difficult. The pooling water in the fly is an issue, but can be addressed with tight guy lines as I mentioned above. I did test in heavy downpours and a little water got in at the corners, but nothing a seam sealer didn’t fix and at this price this is a common problem with all tents. The stakes aren’t the best quality but seeing as I won’t be camping in rugged conditions, these were just fine. There’s no electrical feed through either, which is a shame. Overall, I’m very happy with our purchase. It’s an ample tent that’s easy to put up and take down. I wouldn’t recommended for very hot climates where good ventilation is needed or for rugged conditions like heavy wind, rain or cold. Decided to test it out in a tropical storm and it held out better than we could’ve ever hoped. Very little leakage, but it was constantly raining hard. It is so massive and the screen room is awesome to sit in and look at while avoiding all the mosquitos. The quality of the poles, the zippers, and canvas are astonishing for the price. Would definitely purchase again.Weekend Cabin in the Woods! 16 Apr 18Purchased this tent after seeing it on-line. It’s bigger than I thought and the 2 storage closets have hanging baskets & coat hangers! It was not difficult to set up and the front screen did a nice job of keeping out what few bugs there were this early in the season. It rained hard the first night but me and the kids were bone dry.
