Othonna cremnophila, a recently named species from SW Namibia. Fat stems are tipped with attractive white wool year round and in the fall produce a flush of broad, glaucous and toothed wavy leaves that are very attractive. It has been grown under the name O. cyclophylla, a different species. Ultimately a small shrub but will stay small for years confined in a pot. Slow growing but not difficult, needs bright light and cool nights in winter (40-60F), well-drained soil and dry summer dormancy. Sale plant (photos) is a robust seedling.
