What will you need to apply vaporized oxalic acid to your hives? Not a lot:This vaporizerOxalic acid powder (a life-time’s supply is available cheap on ebay or at your local hardware store as wood bleach)12 v battery – car, motorcycle, lawnmower, etc. We suggest a smaller one that can have a sling or similar fitted so that it can be carried like a purse or put it in the bottom of a five gallon bucket with all of your other supplies for an easy-to-tote system. Typically about $20 at Walmart, etc. You may also need a trickle charger (~$6-12). PPE (personal protective equipment) like goggles, gloves and respirator. I hook it up, stand back a long ways (upwind) and time out 4 minutes. Typically you can see the smoke vapors escape cracks, etc. during minutes 2 and 3.
